Gone are the days….23/8/2020

 

Gone are the days

Of thousands on campus and hundreds in class

Canteens to stampede, crowded roadside stalls

 

Gone are the days

Of studious and curious eagerly standing in the alley

And number on bench and on roll would never tally

 

Gone are the days

Of sitting in front noting down every detail talked

Calculated grand entry just before attendance marked

 

Gone are the days

Of answering countless questions more than planned

Buzzing in, popping in, PUBGing in was timely banned

 

Gone are the days

Of non-convincing yet given ears to late coming reasons

Warning, reminding, asking and pleading for submissions

 

Gone are the days

Of mixed emotion reactions, restless group discussions

Amidst full of Chaos those individual PPT presentations 

 

Gone are the days

Of Awaiting an off or Holiday post restless, tiring week

Monday morning to push hard, drag and nag with a Kick
